Ingredients
- 1 cup AgroPure Premium Besan
- 1 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 cups Fresh Curd (Yogurt)
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 8–10 Curry Leaves
- 2 Dry Red Chillies
- A pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)

Preparation
Step 1: In a bowl, mix AgroPure Besan, sliced onions, green chilli, ajwain, red chilli powder, salt and enough water to make a thick batter. Deep fry small portions until golden and crispy. Set the pakodas aside.
Step 2: In another bowl, whisk together yogurt, AgroPure Besan, turmeric, salt and water until smooth and lump-free.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into a deep pan and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until it comes to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 25–30 minutes until the kadhi thickens and develops a rich flavor.
Step 4: Add the prepared pakodas to the simmering kadhi and cook for another 8–10 minutes so they absorb the delicious flavors.
Step 5: Heat ghee in a small pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies, hing and finally red chilli powder. Pour this aromatic tempering over the kadhi.
Step 6: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice, jeera rice or soft chapatis.
