Light, Flavorful & Wholesome Poha
Prepare a delicious and nutritious breakfast with AgroPure Premium Poha. Soft flattened rice combined with aromatic spices, crunchy peanuts and fresh vegetables creates a comforting dish that’s quick to make and loved by all ages. Perfect for breakfast, brunch or an evening snack, poha is a healthy way to start your day.
Ingredients
- 2 cups AgroPure premium poha (Flattened Rice)
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 8–10 Curry Leaves
- 2 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
- 1 Onion (finely chopped)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
- 1 Potato (small, finely diced and cooked) (optional)
- 1 tsp Sugar (optional)
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- Sev and Pomegranate Seeds for garnish (optional)

Preparation
Step 1: Rinse AgroPure poha gently under running water and let it rest for 5–10 minutes until it becomes soft. Drain any excess water.
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Once they begin to crackle, add curry leaves and green chillies.
Step 3: Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent. Stir in the cooked potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 4: Add the softened AgroPure poha and roasted peanuts. Mix gently so the spices coat the poha evenly without breaking the flakes.
Step 5: Cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes. Add lemon juice and, if desired, a pinch of sugar to balance the flavors.
Step 6: Garnish with fresh coriander, sev and pomegranate seeds. Serve hot with a cup of tea or fresh curd.
